Q. How long does it take to receive my order?
A. We ship orders on Monday through Thursday via DHL. Delivery is normally next day
An order placed on Friday or over the weekend will normally be shipped on the Monday and delivered on Tuesday.

Q. Can I choose when my order will be delivered?
A. Yes you can.
When we ship your order, you will receive an email which includes the tracking details. Using the information in the email and the tracking details provided, you can contact DHL directly and arrange the delivery to suit your needs.
Q : What is the difference between Special Offers and Clearance?
A : Special Offers refer to products that we have been able to secure great pricing on and are passing those savings on to you. The reason we indicate the best by date is so that you can see that the reduced price has nothing to do with the shelf life.
Clearance is just that. Products that have limited shelf life left are put in the Clearance category. The best by date is indicated so that you have all the information available to make a judgement on whether or not you wish to order these items.
Q. How do you ship Frozen products such as sausages, bacon and crunpets?
A. All frozen products are shipped in polystyrene contaners with ice packs. We send an email telling our customer when the order will be shipped. Delivery is normally the next day.
The shipment leaves our premises frozen and, in many cases, will arrive still frozen but we cannot guarantee this, especially in the warmer summer months.
All packages are shipped by DHL. You, our client, will received an email with the tracking details as soon as the package is shipped. You can contact DHL if you need more information about the delivery or to make any changes to the delivery planning. We cannot contact DHL on your behalf.
Q. Are there any restictions on orders containing Frozen goods?
A. The only restriction is that we ship only on Monday through Wednesday. DHL is normally a next day delivery service. So a package sent on Wednesday should arrive Thursday. However, even if, for any reason, the delivery takes two days, the package sent on Wednesday will arrive before the weekend and avoid being in transit during the weekend.
Q. Can I pay with my credit card as well as Paypal?
A. Yes you can.
Click on Paypal and Credit Cards.
You do not need a Paypal account and you will not be asked to create one.
Q. Can I return an order or part of an order?
A. If you have an issue wth an order, or some item or items in the order, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. The prices on your site are in Swiss Francs. Can I pay using another currency?
A. Our prices are only in Swiss Francs.
However, when you checkout, you will pay using either a Credit Card or Paypal. If your Credit Card or Paypal account is in another currency, the service providers system will convert the price to the currency of your Credit Card or PayPal account.
Q. Do you ship outside of Switzerland?
A. No we don't in view of the shipping cost involved as well as customs clearance requirements.
Q : Does the EU law on GDPR affect MyExpatShop?
A : GDPR is not law in Switzerland but we are aware that some clients may be EU citizens or reside in the EU and there are fine lines in the detail of applying GDPR which we must avoid crossing.
For that reason, we cannot transfer any information about our customers, which may be considered personal data, to a third party.
If you have any issue with a product, please contact us. We will do whatever we can to help.
However, if there is a need to contact the manufacturer, only you can do that. By doing so, you ensure that you, and only you, decides and controls what information you transfer.
